Being in Bali and with the group will strengthen and awaken our gifts. Bali is a unique environment for achieving heightened spiritual awareness.
We will create a sacred and loving cocoon for your journey.
Bali is a vibrant, colourful and lovely tropical island set in the Indian Ocean. Spirituality is an integral part of daily life and many visitors fall in love with the evocative, unique culture and the intrinsic grace and beauty of the land and her people.
Our first 3 nights will be based near Ubud, the cultural center of Bali, and offer a program designed to sample the richness of the Balinese culture. Our next 7 nights will be at Mimpi Hotsprings hotel.
The village of Ubud lies some 20 km from the coast. It is a centre for arts, crafts and dance. Cooler and quieter than the coast, the village is a thriving mecca for tourists, traders, travelers and those searching rest and relaxation.
The Balinese are a friendly and remarkably artistic people. They have created a dynamic society with unique arts and ceremonies, making Bali an island almost unreal in today's hectic and changing world. Their Hindu religion is a daily celebration of the land, the gods and the people.
We invite you to Bali Hati (The Heart of Bali). We will explore the culture, religion, nature and people of Bali. Known as the land of a thousand Temples, we will experience being pilgrims on a journey in this magical land by participating in Temple Ceremonies, and sacred bathing in pure spring water, hot springs and ocean water.
We chose Bali because the island is in its own world that contains a deeply profound spiritual culture that is still intact. Most of Indonesia is Moslem, and Bali is mostly Hindu.
The Balinese are a very talented people who surround themselves with creativity, art, music, dance and healing.
The culture is family oriented and the people take care of each other, there is a great wealth among the people. Several generations live under the same roof. There are many villages and each is known for its particular type of art, for example one is silver jewelry, wood carvings, paintings, etc.
The land is green, lush, tropical and full of natural beauty, and is known as the land of 1,000 temples. There are many types of water from cold springs, hot springs, to the ocean (with dolphins), to rivers with rapids.
As Maui, Sedona and Mt Shasta are power spots, so is Bali. It is easier to grow and have powerful experiences in these power places.

Our first morning together after breakfast we will drive to Pura Tirta Empul for a sacred water purification ceremony. This temple is known as the “Holy Spring Temple” and one of the most sacred spots in Bali.
Water spouts pour water from 12 sacred fresh water springs into one long pool. Each spout purifies a different part of your physical, emotional and spiritual body. Tirta Empul is where the Hindu Priests and Balinese people come for purification, prayers and healing. We will take part in a sacred purification ritual. Prepare to release anything and everything that holds you back from being your highest self.
Tirta Empul temple (Indonesian: Pura Tirta Empul) is a Hindu Balinese water temple located near the town of Tampaksiring, Bali, Indonesia. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for a ritual purification called Melukat. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese.
We will go to Gunung Kawi which is a gorgeous river valley. We walk down about 300 steps into the valley.
Here we will see a unique temple carved into the rock of the hillside. This is an ancient temple and nothing like it is found anywhere else in Bali.
Here we will do Dances in nature, while enjoying the beauty of this amazing place.
At least one day we will go out after breakfast in boats to Menjangan Island just off the coast of Mimpi hotel.
Since we are on the border of West Bali National Park even the waters are preserved. We will snorkel for an hour at two different locations
Lunch served in between the snorkeling.
This is a pristine preserved ocean area full of colorful coral and fish. It is the best snorkeling Solomon has ever done.
If you are a certified diver, for an additional fee you could go diving instead of snorkeling. Local Bali guide for snorkeling or diving is provided.
This is a very unique museum. It offers about 7 different buildings on beautiful grounds in nature.
Each building has different styles of all the many puppets and masks that are used in Bali and other countries for ceremony.
Some are 2 dimensional, and some are three dimensional. You will get to see and learn about all these different puppets and masks.
Here we will also do dances in nature as we experience this unique place.
While staying here for 7 days you can also get incredible traditional Balinese massages, Thai massage or other modalities of healing.
The dedicated spa has a varied menu of what healings they offer. Everyone gets a welcome massage in Ubud as part of our retreat.
Any massage or healing you receive here is an additional fee. Hopefully I can get a discounted fee for anyone who wants to receive this service.
Our hotel Mimpi is right next to this unique preserved nature area of Bali.
One day we will go have lunch here and drive/walk around to explore the beauty.
We might go early for sunrise bird watching also.
You can find anything in Ubud, there are handicrafts from all over the island, a farmer’s market, and special ceremonial items the Balinese need everyday, plus much more. This will give you an up-close and personal experience of Balinese life and people.
As Bali is the land of artists and creativity we will have lots of opportunity to see and purchase a wide variety of art, clothing, jewelry, crafts and more.
Having had a Bali import business for over 20 years, we will take you to some of the manufacturers for you to view and purchase items at wholesale prices. Some of these include hand painted silk sarongs, scarves, robes and clothing, batik sarongs, silver jewelry and lots more.
All breakfasts will be at our hotel. Some lunches will also be at our hotel.

SAFETY IN BALI
Due to the international situation, some people are concerned about traveling in Indonesia. However, Bali is a Hindu country and has traditionally always been a very safe place for people to visit. The Balinese people are very friendly to travelers, especially now that many people have been reluctant to travel. We have local friends who will take us to all the best places and be sure that everyone is treated well. Do not bring any illegal drugs as they have severe punishments for that.
Refer to the Health and Safety Protocols for details.
We will be taking many steps to insure all of our safety, including:
*requiring a period of relative self seclusion for 5 days beforehand, except for travel;
*refraining from risky practices such as going to large events,
*avoiding anyone who is sick,
*If you have any symptoms of illness, please do not come to the event. Part of your money could be refunded less the operating expenses as per the refund policy, if you cancel within 15 days before the training.
We ask you to take responsibility for your health and well being by arranging medical insurance and by consulting a health professional, before booking, if you have any physical or emotional condition, which may affect your participation in this holiday.
Your doctor will be able to advise you of any health precautions recommended for travelers to Bali.
We all want to feel safe to explore and connect with each other! We know people have different beliefs around disease and being safe with it, and we ask you to please abide by these guidelines to protect the organizers and other attendees.
